Online Kick-off - Let's InnovateTogether!

09 July 2026
Technical details

Today has marked an important milestone in promoting Social Innovation in the Baltic Sea Region, as several international project partners met for an online kick-off meeting for the new platform project, InnovateTogether, that started implementation on 1 July 2026!

So far, results and solutions developed by various EU-funded Social Innovation projects often remain scattered and hard to apply. InnovateTogether aims to address this challenge by synthesizing existing outputs and making them available with the support of an AI tool.

The tool will make the solutions better accessible and easy to navigate. Furthermore, InnovateTogether will foster the distribution of knowledge generated by the platform, targeting local, national and regional public authorities and initiate open dialogues with other social innovation actors.

During today’s session, each participant stated their personal connection to Social Innovation. While some partners are new to the environment, others possess more than 10 years of experience. Yet, everyone shares the same core motivators: mutual support, inspiration and creating a network.

The kick-off featured an overview of upcoming work packages and assigned responsibilities. Before an in-person partner meeting in Malmö, Sweden, in late autumn this year, partners will meet during regular online meetings and start collaborating and co-creating.

Stay tuned and let’s InnovateTogether!

The InnovateTogether platform project is co-financed by the European Union (European Regional Development Fund) under the Interreg Baltic Sea Region Programme.
