Review of the Transport Logistic 2025!
06 June 2025
In a changing world, transport logistic 2025 demonstrates what logistics must and can deliver today.
The international trade fair for logistics, mobility, IT, and supply chain management, featuring the integrated air cargo Europe, took place from June 2 to 5, 2025, at the Munich exhibition center.
With impressive figures, the event demonstrated its relevance: 2,722 exhibitors from 73 countries, more than 77,000 visitors from over 130 countries and regions, and an expanded exhibition area of 150,000 square meters make it by far the largest trade fair of its kind worldwide.
The share of international exhibitors rose to 65 percent. This growth in space and participant numbers reflects an increase in global reach. A signal of the sector’s political and economic significance: Germany’s new Federal Minister of Transport, Patrick Schnieder, officially opened the event.
Whether autonomous transport, smart platform solutions, or AI-supported control systems – transport logistic 2025 focused on technological advances. The panels, expert lectures, and workshops within the conference program reflected both current challenges and innovation potential.
Among these was a pop-up info stand featuring Interreg and iHATEC funding projects. This space allowed interested visitors to meet with project partners and engage in dialogue. Thematically, the focus was on decarbonization measures in maritime port environments and hinterland logistics, the role of ports as sustainable energy hubs, and digitalization topics in logistics. An introductory presentation on the challenges of maritime logistics transitioned into discussions of the projects and the development of solution approaches and improvement measures. These were followed by individual discussions, where visitors could receive detailed answers from project partners.
A highlight was the visit of the Scandria Alliance delegation.
Representatives from various regions along the Scandinavian-Mediterranean Corridor and academic institutions were informed about decarbonization measures in maritime port environments and hinterland logistics, the role of ports as sustainable energy hubs, and digitalization in logistics.
In addition to the H2Deri@BSP project, the following were represented:
- Blue Supply Chains (Interreg Baltic Sea Region Programme)
Objective: Support for port authorities and operators in decarbonizing port operations via electrification solutions, infrastructure strategies for storing and distributing alternative maritime fuels, and support in building green transport chains.
