Building Bridges: H2Deri@BSP Project Initiates External Collaborations

Following the project’s Kick-off in March 2025 and its introduction to Associated Organisations in April, the first external engagements commenced with an exchange of best practices among various initiatives under the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region – Policy Area SHIP framework.

On April 15, 2025, the lead partner, Port of Hamburg Marketing, participated in the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region – Policy Area SHIP Operational Group meeting. During the meeting, the lead partner presented the project’s objectives, methodologies, anticipated outcomes, and opportunities for collaboration with other initiatives within the PA SHIP network.

This meeting proved to be a valuable platform for gaining insights into other PA SHIP projects, fostering collaborations, and exploring joint event opportunities. It also facilitated the identification of key enablers within the Baltic Sea Region, paving the way for the H2Deri@BSP project’s participation in expert groups on clean shipping and energy.

Stay tuned for updates on this growing cooperation within the EUSBSR platforms, as well as the outcomes of planned events and expert group discussions. With the support of project partners and Associated Organisations, such external engagements not only enhance solution development but also provide opportunities to learn from best practices across the Baltic Sea Region.
