Eduversum presents Flip-EC at didacta 2026 in Cologne

From 10th to 14th March 2026, Flip-EC was represented at didacta in Cologne by project partner Eduversum GmbH. As Europe’s largest trade fair for the education sector, didacta brings together teachers, school leaders, education practitioners and organisations from across all areas of learning. This made it an ideal setting to present Flip-EC and highlight the important role of education in fostering more energy-conscious behaviour and supporting climate action.

At the fair, Eduversum introduced Flip-EC to a broad education audience and engaged in many valuable conversations at the stand. More than 400 teachers visited the stand, underlining the strong interest in practical educational approaches and innovative learning materials. Eduversum also contributed actively to the fair’s programme by moderating and participating in panel discussions and exchange formats on current education topics. This strong presence helped connect Flip-EC with relevant actors from across the education sector.

For Flip-EC, this exchange was especially relevant, as the project seeks to empower a wide range of building users — including students, teachers, municipal staff and citizens — to adopt more energy-conscious habits in everyday activities such as heating, ventilation and lighting. The project focuses on the untapped energy-saving potential in schools and municipal buildings and is developing practical approaches that can support long-term behavioural change.

Eduversum’s participation in didacta 2026 showed how closely the project’s objectives are linked to the education sector. The event once again confirmed that education has a crucial role to play in promoting energy-conscious behaviour and helping turn public buildings into part of the solution to climate change. The next didacta will take place in Hannover from 23th to 27th February 2027.
