Collaboration between Flip-EC and Easy Energy strengthened at monthly consortium meeting
15 August 2025
On 6th August 2025, the Flip-EC consortium welcomed Anna Maria Czarny from Hanse-Parlament, representing another Interreg BSR project, Easy Energy, as a guest contributor at its monthly meeting. Anna Maria, who also took part in the Flip-EC kick-off event in Lübeck this May, presented the progress of Easy Energy — underlining the close cooperation between the two initiatives.
Now midway through its implementation, Easy Energy is preparing its pilots and finalising practical blueprints for improving building insulation and optimising water and electricity use. In particular, Anna Maria Czarny presented the building insulation blueprint, highlighting its practical relevance, enhanced by a detailed step-by-step guide with photos. The Easy Energy blueprints will also include a collection of behavioural measures for improving energy efficiency — a topic central to Flip-EC, which will foster even closer collaboration between the two projects.
Anna Maria Czarny also explained Easy Energy’s outreach strategy, centred on municipal energy consulting services, business forums, and local information events. She mentioned the upcoming Tallinn Enterprise Day as a good example of an effective communication channel for reaching target groups.
Following the presentation, a lively Q&A session covered topics such as product recommendations, the balance between technical and behavioural measures, and persuasive communication with stakeholders.
The Flip-EC consortium looks forward to further updates from Anna Maria Czarny and Easy Energy in the coming months, particularly on methods to positively influence user motivation — another shared area of interest between the two projects.
