Biržai district municipality presented Flip-EC at the Biržai City Festival 2026

On 1st August 2026 Biržų rajono savivaldybė (Biržai district municipality, Lithuania) proudly represented the Flip-EC Interreg Baltic Sea Region project during the Biržai City Festival 2026 – “Biržai is the Capital of My Heart”. The festival brought together residents and visitors for a vibrant celebration of local culture, community, tourism, and innovation.

At the Flip-EC stand, project representatives introduced visitors to the project’s goals and highlighted how everyday behavioural changes and cooperation between building users and administrators can improve energy efficiency in public buildings. Visitors also received Flip-EC postcards with a QR code to our website : a chance to learn more about our mission, encourage further action and access our practical solutions.

The event provided a valuable opportunity to engage with the local community, raise awareness about energy efficiency, and inspire conversations on sustainability in public buildings. We thank everyone who visited our stand and contributed their ideas and interest.
