The conference “City – Space for Business: Synergy for the Reconstruction of Ukraine” was organized by the Polish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and the Rzeszow City Hall. It took place on February 22, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Session Hall of the Rzeszow City Hall, located at Rynek 1, 35-064 Rzeszów.

The conference aimed to address the increasing entrepreneurial activity of Ukrainians in Poland since the outbreak of war, posing both challenges and opportunities for cities and the economy. It sought to explore how to harness this potential and the roles of Ukrainian and Polish businesses and partnerships in integration with the EU for the reconstruction of Ukraine.

The conference was part of a series of conferences initiated by the Polish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce in response to the need for dialogue between Ukrainian businesses and the support ecosystem. Participation in the conference was free, and registration was required.

The BSI_4Women Project was promoted during the “City – Space for Business: Synergy for the Reconstruction of Ukraine” conference, which was organized by the Polish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and the Rzeszow City Hall. The project was presented as part of the thematic scope of the conference, which included discussions on supporting business, professional skills development for Ukrainian migrants, cooperation between Polish and Ukrainian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the reconstruction of Ukraine, and partnership collaboration between cities, regions, and businesses from Poland and Ukraine for Ukraine’s reconstruction. The BSI_4Women Project aimed to empower and support women entrepreneurs in the context of economic reconstruction and development.

Overall, the conference aimed to foster dialogue and collaboration between Ukrainian businesses and entities supporting entrepreneurship, leveraging the growing entrepreneurial activity of Ukrainians in Poland and addressing the associated challenges and opportunities in the context of city development and economic reconstruction.
