Opening of Teilen & Schrauben in Hamburg

On 22 August, Goldbekhaus in Hamburg-Winterhude opened “Teilen & Schrauben” (“Sharing & Screwing”), a new neighbourhood space for sharing, repairing, making and learning.

The opening featured hands-on activities including screen printing, making deodorant, creating bags, buttons and postcards, as well as a flea market and book table. In the evening, author and maker Konrad Staisch presented his book Das, was da ist (“What Is There”), followed by a discussion on repairing, sharing, making and the possibilities of a more circular society.

The new space will host future repair events, workshops and community activities. As part of the Circ@Home project, it will also serve as a local meeting point where households and neighbourhood initiatives can explore practical circular solutions together.
