CiNURGi Presented at the 10th Scientific Conference in Chełm

Partners of the CiNURGi project from the Institute of Soil Science and Plant Cultivation, State Research Institute (IUNG-PIB) in Puławy took part in the 10th Scientific Conference of the series "Science and Practice – Different Perspectives on Agriculture", held on 17-18 September 2026 at the State University of Applied Sciences in Chełm, Poland. This year's conference was organised under the theme "Agricultural Challenges in the Context of Climate Change".
Technical details

During the poster session, representatives of IUNG-PIB presented research findings generated within the CiNURGi project through the following contributions:

  • Evaluation of the Agronomic Value of Pelleted Plant-Based Digestate in Maize Cultivation
  • Struvite and Ammonium Sulphate Solution Recovered from Organic Waste for Use as Fertilisers in Wheat and Maize Production.

The conference provided a platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience among researchers, public administration representatives, and agricultural practitioners. Its primary objective was to present the latest research findings and facilitate discussion on the challenges facing modern agriculture in the context of climate change. Particular attention was devoted to the implementation of innovative techniques and technologies supporting sustainable agricultural production.

The event brought together approximately 60 participants representing the scientific community, governmental and local administration bodies, as well as business entities supporting the development of the agricultural sector.
