CCC-2 Launches Webinar Series on Green Public Procurement
08 October 2026
How can municipalities put sustainable public procurement into practice? What tools and approaches can help them reduce harmful substances, address climate impacts and promote circularity in their procurement decisions?
To explore these questions, the ChemClimCircle-2 (CCC-2) project has launched a webinar series dedicated to practical approaches to green public procurement. Running throughout 2026 and continuing into 2027, the series brings together experts, municipalities and procurement professionals from across the Baltic Sea Region to exchange knowledge, share experiences and explore solutions for more sustainable procurement.
Each webinar focuses on a specific aspect of the ChemClimCircle (CCC) approach, which integrates three environmental priorities – Chemicals, Climate and Circularity – into public procurement. Through expert presentations, practical examples and discussions, participants can learn how to apply these principles in their everyday procurement activities.
A successful start: Exploring market dialogue
The series officially launched on 21 September 2026, with its first webinar focusing on market dialogue in CCC procurements.
Bringing together more than 40 participants from municipalities, government agencies and other organisations, the webinar explored how early engagement with suppliers can help public authorities identify available solutions, develop realistic sustainability criteria and prepare more effective procurement procedures.
Speakers also highlighted the value of cooperation between municipalities, including joint market dialogues, shared expertise and exchanging lessons learned.
