This local dialogue aims to explore how cultural identity, heritage-based initiatives and EU funding instruments can foster territorial cohesion, resilience, and a sense of belonging across European regions. By bringing together representatives from Croatia, Romania, Czechia, and Denmark, the event will highlight how regional cooperation and culture-based development strategies can contribute to the broader European vision of balanced and inclusive growth.

Marija Šarić, Mayor of the City of Pleternica and Member of the European Committee of the Regions (Croatia) – Opening statement on the role of regional cooperation and EU cohesion policy in promoting identity and belonging.
Moderator:
Krunoslav Srpak, Head of the Representation Office of Slavonia, Baranja and Srijem in Brussels (Croatia) – Moderating and concluding reflections on how regional and local actors can jointly strengthen cohesion through culture.
