11 Culture and Resilience Action Plans received for 2026

We as the BSR Cultural Pearls project partnership are proud to share that 11 candidates have taken the final step on the pathway towards becoming BSR Cultural Pearls 2026 title holders by submitting their Culture and Resilience Action Plans(CuReAPs).

We commend the candidates’ efforts and the unwavering support of their mentors during the development phase. This diverse outcome showcases the continued recognition of the programme and title’s worth for towns and municipalities across the Baltic Sea region.

The international jury of experts in social resilience, urban planning, arts, and pan-Baltic cooperation has now started their assessment of the candidates’ plans of how to foster social resilience through culture in their communities and will select the most convincing as finalists to be awarded the title of BSR Cultural Pearls 2026.

The official announcement of the BSR Cultural Pearls 2026 is planned for in three weeks’ time – mid of November, the joint award ceremony will take place during the Culture For Resilience Forum, hosted from 25-27 November 2025 in Varde, Denmark.
