Technical details

From 14 to 15 June 2025, the Fehmarn Belt Days in Lübeck welcomed around 150 visitors to the booth of our project partner, Baltic Environmental Forum Germany (BEF). The event provided an inspiring atmosphere and ideal conditions to showcase innovative projects supporting a sustainable future for the Baltic Sea region.

As part of the BALTIPLAST project, BEF invited visitors to participate in interactive activities focused on plastic reduction and recycling. At the booth, guests could test their knowledge in a quiz, receive practical tips for everyday life, and be inspired by playful activities. The opportunity to make their own deodorant and discuss plastic reduction in a hands-on setting was especially popular. The enthusiastic participation highlighted the strong interest in concrete solutions for reducing plastic waste, with young people in particular eager to expand their knowledge on the topic.

The Fehmarn Belt Days 2025 proved to be a great success for the BALTIPLAST project. The event fostered valuable dialogue and idea exchange for the sustainable development of coastal regions. The positive response and high level of engagement from visitors encourage the partnership to continue working actively towards a sustainable future for the Baltic Sea Region.
