Technical details

The 11th on-line meeting of the BalMarGrav project was held on August 31, 2023 and gathered 18 participants from Project Partners and Associated Organizations. During the meeting Monika Wilde-PiĆ³rko (IGiK, Poland) has informed about the deadlines for Progress Report 2 and also outlined the changes that have been made to the reports forms. A report on availability of the historical marine gravity data and an agreement on the regulation of the rights to gravimetric data collected during the project are also under development. In August 1-2, 2023 there were done by Przemysław Dykowski (IGiK) absolute gravity measurements at the Lithuanian (Klaipeda) and Latvian (Grobina/Liepaja, Riga) harbours. Absolute measurements in Szczecin and relative measurements in Świnoujście are planned in September 6-7, 2023. The very preliminary results from marine gravimetric measurements along the cost of Denmark, Poland and Lithuania are discussed by Gabriel Strykowski (DTU) and Krzysztof Pyrchla (GUT).
