BalMarGrav: 15th on-line meeting

The 15th on-line meeting of the BalMarGrav project was held on January 25, 2024 and gathered 18 participants from the Project Partners and Associated organisations. During the meeting Monika Wilde-PiĆ³rko (IGiK, Poland) was pleased to announce that the Licence for use of the historical marine gravity data and the Agreement between the Project Partners and Latvian Geospatial Information Agency (LGIA) on the regulation of the rights to gravimetric data collected during the BalMarGrav project were signed. During the meeting there were also presented the status of the BalMarGrav database ā€“ historical data are already gathered in the NKG database under the BalMarGrav licence and now a pre-release stage is initiated. Also, a list of national organisations which providing their own gravity databases and potentially would like to receive harmonized historical data directly (not through the NKG DB) was prepared and discussed. Additionally, Project Partners have debated on the possibility of future funding applications for gravimetric campaigns.
