CIRC-2-ZERO WP1 Deliverables
26 June 2026
Work Package 1: Preparing solutions
Deliverable 1.1 Circular Desing Evaluation and Database
Deliverable 1.1, Circular Design Evaluation and Database, was prepared to provide a reliable data basis for circular product and value chain design in the Electronics and Engineered Wood Products (EWP) sectors to be used in the Digital Twin Demo Platform (DTDP). The deliverable addresses the problem that material-related data is often fragmented, inconsistent, and difficult to compare across countries and industries. This creates barriers for companies, especially SMEs, when selecting materials, calculating carbon footprints, and designing more circular and low-carbon products.
The deliverable is mainly targeted at SMEs and larger companies, but it is also relevant for business support organisations, higher education and research institutions, and policymakers in the Baltic Sea Region.
The main outputs include Annex I, containing the final list of circularity, sustainability, energy-related, and economic indicators. Annex II, containing the materials and chemicals database for the Electronics sector and Annex III, containing the materials and chemicals database for the EWP sector.
Annex III, Engineered Wood Product (EWP)
