The second SEABAS face-to-face Consortium meeting will take place in Tallinn on 20-21 April 2026. The partners are coming together to ensure that the first two deliverables of the project, the Scoping report of previous related work (D1.1) and the Methodology for implementing Cumulative Impact Assessment (CIA) in the Baltic Sea maritime spatial planning (MSP) processes (D1.3) are on track to be delivered in June.
Meeting in person will also allow us to work together on the other activities of the project, which will build on the first two deliverables. In the next stages the consortium will produce a guidance for Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) methodology and test the CIA methodology on pilot cases in Finland and Latvia, both delivering to the first outcome of producing regional recommendations for a SEA framework in maritime spatial planning processes.
