SmartAging 2040: Building Elderly-Centred Resilience in the Baltic Sea Region

Project: SmartAging
Physical Meeting

Description

We are proud to announce that SmartAging Project will organise a workshop at the 17th EUSBSR Annual Forum 2026, Resilience Edition, taking place in Tallinn, Estonia, on 11–13 May 2026.

Our workshop, “SmartAging 2040: Building Elderly-Centred Resilience in the Baltic Sea Region,” will be led by Ali Tavakoli from Satakunta University of Applied Sciences - SAMK.

As the Baltic Sea Region faces demographic shifts, ageing societies, climate-related pressures, and new security challenges, resilience must also mean building communities that are inclusive, age-friendly, and prepared for the future.

We look forward to contributing to the EUSBSR Annual Forum, exchanging ideas with partners across the region, and working together toward a more resilient, inclusive, and sustainable Baltic Sea Region.
