Description

The National Academy for Social Prescribing (NASP) host the International Social Prescribing Showcase - a dynamic two-hour online event celebrating the global evolution of social prescribing.

Bringing together voices from some of the 32 countries in the International Social Prescribing Collaborative (ISPC), this showcase will highlight innovative practices, emerging research, and diverse implementation models adapted to health systems worldwide.

What to expect:

  • Global insights: Short snapshots from countries around the world, showing how social prescribing adapts to local needs and cultures
  • Deep dives: Honest discussion of challenges and breakthroughs in low and middle-income countries, looking at how social prescribing is making a difference on the ground
  • Research spotlight: Learn from the SP-EU trial, its aims and proposals
  • Future focus: Join a forward-looking panel on the global future of social prescribing, featuring ISPC leaders and changemakers.

Co-chaired by Charlotte Osborn-Forde and Dr Michael Dixon, this event offers a unique opportunity to connect, learn, and shape the future of social prescribing together.

Who should attend?

Anyone interested in international approaches to the future of health: professionals, researchers, policymakers, and all who believe in the power of community-based care.
