Description
Join us for a Marine Science Day in partnership with the Leibniz Institute for Baltic Sea Research Warnemünde (IOW), Coastal Union Germany (EUCC-D), Landesamt für Umwelt, Naturschutz und Geologie (LUNG), and Save the Baltic Sea expedition team. Together, we delve into the pressing issues facing the Baltic Sea region.
On April 12th, join us for a unique opportunity to not only hear firsthand accounts from the Save The Baltic Sea team about their expedition around the Baltic Sea on foot but also to gain insights from local marine scientists and environmental experts. We'll delve into marine litter research and the impacts of climate change specifically on German beaches.
Together, we'll explore methods for monitoring these issues and discuss adaptation strategies and improvement measures with the public and various stakeholders. And afterwards, we will help on the ground with a clean up session on the beautiful Warnemünde shores.
The event will primarily held in German.
