Description
The project Resilience by circularity and sharing culture at households as precondition for climate-neutral cities: "Circ-in-Town = Circ@Home + Circular services" (Circ@Home) started on 1 March 2025. The project seeks to foster circularity at home, across services, and within towns. Targeting municipalities, local services, and households, Circ@Home aims to drive sustainable solutions and lifestyle changes to combat climate change.
The project will prototype and test solutions in various Baltic Sea towns and transfer results to local stakeholders. By enhancing access to circular solutions, Circ@Home will encourage collaboration among households, municipalities, and services to reduce environmental footprint and foster the transition towards a circular economy. Through pilots and training, Circ@Home aims to integrate circularity into daily activities, shaping behaviors towards a more sustainable future.
Project partners gathered for the first time in Hamburg, Germany on 4-5 March 2025, to discuss circularity concepts and start developing sustainable solutions adaptable to diverse contexts. The meeting took place at Goldbekhaus, a cultural center, which itself will serve as a circularity hub within the project.
