Description

Policy Area Culture invites to the "InnoCulture Conference" in Gdansk on 19-20 November, 2024.

The conference is an excellent opportunity for Baltic Sea Region actors in the field of culture to network and explore how culture and innovation connect. The conference highlights the role of culture as a factor and driver of innovation. Subsequently, it focuses on cross-sectoral cultural activities and projects and the resulting opportunities and possibilities. Besides numerous networking opportunities, parallel workshop sessions will dive deeper into innovative approaches on how culture fosters development and drives innovation in fields, such as, health, sustainability, entrepreneurship, or mobility.

The workshop on Culture x Health is organised by the Westpomeranian Region in the frame of the Interreg BSR project Arts on Prescription in the Baltic Sea Region. Key questions to be discussed during the workshop are: How to make progress in developing local and regional policies that use the arts to support health promotion and well-being? ​how to scale up arts interventions for health and well-being at EU level?
