How to bring healthy, locally-produced food to schools?

This is the question that has been of key importance to many municipalities in the Baltic Sea Region. However, identifying the delivery chain flaws of locally grown products, enhancing procurement procedures, facilitating the participation of local farmers, and informing society of healthy food principles is not an easy task!

So we invited Eglė Stonkė, a Managing Director of the Association „Klaipėda Region”, to share her experience of creating the „From Farm to School“ model in Klaipėda🇱🇹. In the event, E. Stonkė will present us with an insight into the process of building cooperation between schools and farmers as well as engaging various players in the local community to work together for healthier food in local schools.
