Culture and arts facilitators play a central role in the implementation of Arts on Prescription programmes as culture and arts are the essences of the programme. It’s important as a culture and arts facilitator to be motivated and interested in designing activities to the programme’s target audience. It is also important to have the skills and the willingness to adapt and modify the activities to the needs of the target audience.

This seminar introduces the roles and tasks of culture and arts facilitators and provides hands-on experiences from the piloted Arts on Prescription programme in Saldus to arts and cultural actors of the project's twinning city Liepāja.
