Description

The CommitClimate project will be actively participating in Energy and Environment Specialty Day, organised by TalTech on 10 October 2025 — a full-day event that brings together over 300 participants, including students, researchers, policymakers, and industry representatives. The day will feature parallel workshops, presentations, and panel discussions dedicated to climate action, sustainability, energy transition, and cutting-edge research in thermal and chemical engineering.

As part of this dynamic event, CommitClimate and its partners will showcase tools, results, and practical applications that support municipalities, researchers, and decision-makers on their path towards climate neutrality. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore how system dynamics modelling, emission calculation tools, and innovative digital platforms can accelerate climate action at the local and regional levels.

Agenda:

Time Activity
13:00, 15:00, 17:00 Department Vision and CO₂ Calculator: Calculate your own carbon footprint and explore reduction strategies
14:00 – 14:45 CommitClimate Session: Introduction to project activities, presentation of DET activities, and Enerhack showcase
15:30 – 17:30 PhD Presentations: How CommitClimate results are applied in cutting-edge research projects
