Description

The Coffee with KISMET series continues — join us on 20 November for the next inspiring session on

Cooperative business models and governance for sustainable food systems

In this Coffee with KISMET webinar, members from the Belmont forum project “Co-creation of Sustainable Food Supply Chains through Cooperative Business Models and Governance” (CO-SFSC) will provide an overview of their transdisciplinary research, which spans across the countries of Germany, Sweden, Turkey, Thailand and Taiwan.

In each country, “hubs” involving researchers and diverse food practitioners have been working with research connected to cooperative business models and governance, including practical interventions, aimed at improving the sustainability of local and short food supply chains.

Courtney Adamson, PhD candidate at KTH Royal Institute of Technology and member of the Swedish hub, will introduce the project and provide an overview of some results from the research, including her research following Södertälje municipality and Beras International during their work in KISMET and other related projects. Other members of CO-SFSC, including Rebecka Milestad (KTH/Swedish Defence Research Agency) and Pia Laborgne (Karlsruhe Technical University & coordinator of CO-SFSC), will also attend and be available for further discussions about the project at the end of the webinar.
