The climate is changing and plant-based meals are gaining momentum. Consumers search for and are eager to explore a diverse range of plant-rich foods on the market.

Our partners in South-East part of Finland observe the increasing need for experts in the field of food technology. These are the main reasons why South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences started an education program in Advanced Food Technology.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in Advanced Food Technology will be the topic of the Coffee with KISMET event on September 19th.

In the event, we will dive deeper into this study program, which focuses on the needs of working life, emphasizing the processing, product development, food safety, packaging, and commercialization of plant-based foods and raw materials.
