Description

How can chemicals be better integrated into circular economy, climate action, waste management and product policy?

The Chemicals Projects Platform will bring together around 100 experts, project representatives, policymakers and practitioners from across Europe to explore chemicals as a cross-cutting environmental challenge and identify practical pathways towards a toxic-free and circular economy.

The event will connect projects funded by LIFE, Horizon Europe and Interreg and focus on topics including upstream–downstream value chain thinking, policy instruments such as public procurement and ecolabelling, and the prevention of hazardous substances at source.

Through project pitches, interactive workshops and an exhibition of project results, participants will have the opportunity to exchange experiences, build new connections and identify opportunities for cooperation across sectors and funding programmes.

Where: Hotel Radisson Blu Daugava, Riga

When: 2–3 December 2026

The event is organised and financed by the LIFE Programme of the European Commission and the LIFE FitforREACH-2 project, with support from the HAZGONE Platform. HAZGONE partners will actively contribute to the event programme – we warmly invite your organisations and projects to join the discussion and give a contribution (presentation or poster)!
