3rd RSG Meeting

30 Jul 2024

The 3rd RSG meeting was conducted in July 2024 in a form of consultations by Polish and Lithuanian partners.

We have asked our regional stakeholders to evaluate and comment on the questions we have developed on the key performance indicators (KPIs) of the student workshops. The KPIs will help evaluate the workshop and its relevance to the target groups e.g. maintaining participation in the entire cycle.

As part of the Project, each Partner will run a series of three exploratory workshops for deeptech students and young researchers in their country, with topics focused on:

  • encouraging entrepreneurship;
  • presenting cases of success and failure;
  • analysing scientific/business trends; exploring market potential (discussion with real case examples led by VC investors);
  • generation of business ideas and their validation with case work: how to turn passion into business + transformation of scientific solutions into technological products.

The participation of entrepreneurs and VC representatives will provide the workshop with the important value of real-life experience.

After the workshop, students will be given a short questionnaire to complete, on the basis of which an indicator of the effectiveness of the workshop will be determined: that is, how beneficial/attractive/helpful the students found it, comparing their knowledge of the topic before and after the workshop.

We received responses and reflections on which of these questions our regional stakeholders felt were most relevant to the intended purpose of measuring the effectiveness of the workshops, as well as suggestions for revisions and the inclusion of new questions in the survey.
