Description

ENTRA Promoted at the Interreg Thematic Workshop on Energy Transition in Warsaw

On 22 October 2026, the Ministry of Development Funds and Regional Policy in Warsaw hosted the Interreg Thematic Workshop on Energy Transition, bringing together representatives of Interreg programmes, project beneficiaries and experts to exchange experiences and discuss the role of international cooperation in advancing the energy transition.

The event opened with presentations introducing Interreg programmes and highlighting the importance of international cooperation in the energy sector, followed by a discussion of strategic directions for the energy transition.

The EnTRA project was actively promoted throughout the event. Participants received EnTRA leaflets, and two posters introduced the project, explained its objectives and highlighted how EnTRA brings together knowledge, practical tools and solutions developed by different projects to support the energy transition.

The presentation also featured a list of 10 webinars organised as part of EnTRA’s Knowledge Community activities. This initiative aimed to raise awareness of the Knowledge Community, encourage new registrations and increase participation in upcoming webinars.

The workshop also provided an opportunity to promote five projects whose results contribute to the EnTRA platform: Climate-4-CAST, Energy Equilibrium, Easy Energy, CommitClimate and PV4All. These five projects are among the 18 initiatives whose results and resources are being brought together through EnTRA to facilitate knowledge exchange and promote the wider use of practical solutions supporting the energy transition.

By presenting EnTRA alongside other Interreg initiatives, the event helped raise awareness of the project, strengthen connections between related initiatives and encourage further participation in its Knowledge Community and webinar programme.

The workshop concluded with a discussion of experiences gained through Interreg projects, highlighting the importance of international cooperation, sharing good practices and building on existing project results to support the energy transition.
