Baltic Blue Resilience Kick-off Meeting in Kuopio, Finland

The event brought together BBR project partners, the Associated Organisation, representatives of the Interreg Baltic Sea Region programme, invited experts and stakeholders working in the fields of water management, climate resilience, stormwater management, nature-based solutions and water innovation.

The programme combined project planning with knowledge exchange and networking. Invited speakers shared experiences and lessons learned from ongoing and completed initiatives across the Baltic Sea Region and beyond. The discussions highlighted opportunities for cooperation and synergies between projects, organisations and experts addressing climate resilience and water-related challenges.

A stakeholder mapping session further supported the identification of relevant organisations, networks and target groups to be engaged throughout the BBR project. The meeting marked an important first step in building a strong BBR partnership and connecting the project with the wider Baltic Sea Region water and climate resilience community.
