Harvest Festival time! CiNURGi activities on nutrient recycling presented in Poland

During the event, MSc Aleksandra Bibow from the Department of Phytochemistry, as a member of the Institute’s team, additionally represented the CiNURGi project. The presented CiNURGi materials highlighted how the project brings companies into symbioses to recycle nutrient rich biomass from agricultural, municipal, and industrial sources into safe fertilizers, and provides authorities with roadmaps to further reduce nutrient losses in the future.

The Institute’s stand attracted considerable interest from visitors and served as a place for numerous meetings, discussions and questions regarding IUNG PIB’s research activities and solutions supporting modern, sustainable agriculture. Participation in the Harvest Festival provided an excellent opportunity to speak directly with farmers, advisors, and representatives of agricultural institutions, as well as to disseminate scientific knowledge and present the Institute’s achievements.
