CiNURGi presented at the European Agricultural Forum 2026

18 May 2026
The CiNURGi (Circular Nutrients for a sustainable Baltic Sea Region) project was presented at the IUNG PIB exhibition stand during the European Agricultural Forum, held on 1–2 April 2026 in Jasionka near Rzeszów, Poland.
Technical details

Visitors to the stand had the opportunity to learn about the project’s activities and practical solutions supporting the circular management of nutrients across agricultural, municipal, and industrial biomass streams. CiNURGi focuses on converting nutrient rich waste into safe, high value recycled fertilisers, while also promoting policies and practices that enable their wider adoption.

By strengthening nutrient circularity, the project contributes to the implementation of the HELCOM Baltic Sea Regional Nutrient Strategy, the Baltic Sea Action Plan, and the EU Circular Economy Action Plan under the European Green Deal.
