The CCC Pre-Commercial Procurement Enters Phase 1

The Creative Circular Cities (CCC) pre-commercial procurement (PCP) has now entered Phase 1: Solution Design. 

Following the evaluation of tenders, the following five contractors have been selected to continue under Lot 1 of the PCP:

• Comat Studio (Germany)
• Innovation Center Inc. (Germany) 
• Superhood Oy (Finland)
• Zero Waste Latvija (Latvia)
• Zirobio (Estonia)  

Over the next two and a half months, the selected teams will further develop and refine their proposed solutions to the following challenge: 

How might we create an accessible, unified platform or system that connects service providers contributing to the circular economy, making it easier for citizens to discover and use their services? 

During Phase 1, the contractors will receive mentoring and regular check-ins with members of the CCC Buyers’ Group. This close collaboration is intended to support the development of strong, user-centred solution concepts and to ensure alignment with the needs of public authorities and citizens alike.

Please note: The CCC partnership was unable to proceed with Lot 2 of the PCP, as the minimum number of tender applications required to enter Phase 1 was not met.
