Welcome to the ash fertilisation webinar, where the availability of ash and potential fertilisation sites in Sweden and Finland will be presented with the help of map data.
In the webinar, Associate Professor Dimitris Athanassiadis from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) examines the availability of ash and the situation in Sweden based on the recent results of the CEforestry project. Tatu Viitasaari, Forest Management Specialist at the Finnish Forest Centre, explains how spatial data can be used to identify potential ash fertilisation sites and illustrates his presentation with map examples.
