The final three days project meeting in Uppsala to present/summerize the project activities

Description

Workshop Summary – SLU, Uppsala, 19–21 November 2025

Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) will host a three-day hybrid workshop in Uppsala, Sweden, from Wednesday 19 November to Friday 21 November 2025. The event will bring together project partners and target groups, and will take place at the Clarion Hotel Gillet (Room: Aros, with online connection).

The workshop will feature 20 presentations from project partners and stakeholders, with all project partners summarizing their activities during the project period. The program also includes thematic sessions dedicated to specific focus areas such as tannins applications, stakeholder perspectives, needle-based applications, innovation and collaboration, and circular economy business models. Each session will combine partner presentations, contributions from industry and target groups, and interactive discussions.

In addition to the scientific and professional program, participants will join a cultural excursion in Uppsala, including guided visits to the Uppsala Cathedral, Museum Gustavianum, and Carolina Rediviva University Library. Networking opportunities will be provided through joint lunches and dinners, including a welcome dinner at the historic Domtrappkällaren Restaurant.

The workshop aims to:

  • Share project results and partner achievements.

  • Strengthen dialogue between academia, industry, and stakeholders.

  • Explore applications and innovations in forestry biomass utilization.

  • Support the development of circular bioeconomy solutions.

  • Build a foundation for continued collaboration beyond the project.

The event will conclude with reflections, policy recommendations, and the selection of the three best posters presented during the workshop.
