Description
Are you planning to apply for a project platform in the second call for applications under Interreg Baltic Sea Region 2021–2027? Then this in-person workshop in Riga is designed for you!
The Managing Authority/Joint Secretariat (MA/JS) invites potential applicants to join a one-day development workshop to strengthen their project platform concepts and prepare for high-quality applications. The event includes both a structured group programme and optional individual consultations with MA/JS staff.
Why attend?
Participants will gain hands-on support in developing their project platform application; understand the project platform concept, target group engagement, expected results and outputs, budgeting and financial planning; receive guidance on the application, assessment, and selection process, and work on practical exercises to sharpen their ideas.
This workshop is a great opportunity to clarify questions, receive tailored feedback, and network with peers from across the region.
Who should attend?
The workshop is open to:
• Project platform applicants preparing their submission for the second call (open until 20 November 2025).
• Coordinators of EUSBSR policy areas, who are warmly encouraged to participate.
Participation is limited to two representatives per project platform idea. Additional participants may be admitted if space allows.
How to register?
To participate, please register here and submit your Project Platform Idea Form (PIF) to platform@interreg-baltic.eu. The PIF template is available in the gateway for applicants on the Programme portal. The deadline for submitting PIF is 30 September 2025.
Registration for the workshop is open until 23 September 2025.
Your participation will be confirmed after submission of the PIF.
Background
This development workshop supports applicants in fully taking advantage of the project platform instrument, a unique opportunity to leverage and integrate results from multiple Interreg and other EU-funded projects. By fostering cooperation across borders and sectors, project platforms help maximise the use of knowledge, align with strategic frameworks like the EUSBSR, and reinforce regional impact.
