Description

On Baltic Sea Day, Natur och Miljö and The Finnish Association for Nature Conservation will host a series of engaging activities highlighting the importance of protecting the Baltic Sea, contributing to our Local Action Days.

Visitors will have the chance to learn about aquatic life through nature school-led explorations of water insects and other small creatures. In addition, kayakers and SUP-boarders will collect plastic waste from the Baltic Sea, which will later be turned into creative artworks. A recycling expert from Anarkistimartat will share tips on how to properly dispose of the collected trash and help guide participants in their artistic creations.

Throughout the event, informational flyers will be distributed, raising awareness about the harmful effects of single-use plastics and promoting the Baltiplast campaign.
