Technical details

On June 18th, the non-profit association Biodistrict Sörmland was formed, which will ensure that the work continues. At the meeting, the association’s first board was appointed, consisting of Anna Sundberg, Harriet Nilsson, Helena Nordlund, Jenny Askenfelt, Linus Källander, Sofi Gerber, and Tim Lux, together with the deputies Jostein Hertwig and Ulf Engström.

“We are very happy to have such a strong team with representatives from both public actors and producer associations in Sörmland, who now want to work across boundaries to strengthen the conditions for a sustainable, local food system. Now, we have established a platform for collaboration that can fill the gaps between the actors working with organic production and consumption”, says Sofi Gerber, the coordinator of Biodistrict Sörmland.
