The opening session sets the stage for the day by highlighting how farming and aquaculture can contribute with solutions that make a sustainable green transition possible in both cities and rural areas - and drive shared prosperity. An opening presentation will explore how to unlock this potential. Attendees will then be introduced to the three thematic tracks. This session will be in Danish.
  •
    10:35 - 11:50 (CET)
We are investigating new potential for Danish agriculture in light of the green tripartite agreement: Land-based fish farming, with a focus on agricultural RAS, with a focus on hands-on experience from demo facilities with fish in stables, cultivation of microalgae on CO2 from livestock, rules for crops on reclaimed lowland soil, crop rotations optimised for carbon capture and credits for supplying carbon to the construction industry, and crop rotations with a focus on nutrients and protein. This session will be in Danish.
  •
    10:35 - 11:50 (CET)
On the path towards a bio-based society, the production of biomass for non-food application from Danish farms will be paramount. This session explores further uses and value chains for biomass such as hemp, thatch, straw and grass. This session will be in Danish.
  •
    10:35 - 11:50 (CET)
Dive into the business potential of Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS) with a focus on real-world applications from the TETRAS project. This session explores innovative uses of technical and geothermal water, RAS as a tool for education and awareness, and the value of sustainability assessments like LCAs, KPIs, and ESG in business planning. We'll also discuss how data and policy developments are shaping RAS innovation, featuring insights from early adopters. This session will be in English.
  •
    14:00 - 16:30 (CET)
The closing session will bring together keynote speakers from all three thematic tracks to explore future opportunities in sustainable fish feed from Danish agriculture, if there is regulatory support for Danish farming to become material producers and the potentials of Business development with RAS Technology, RAS. A joint keynote will highlight the potential of digital twins to reduce risks in decision making, as an educational tool and to accelerate transitions. This will be followed by a moderated panel debate with track rapporteurs to discuss key barriers identified during the day and propose solutions for moving forward. This session will be in English.
