NURSECOAST-II at the 65th International Scientific Conference of Riga Technical University
31 October 2024
Janis Zviedris´ presentation, titled “Application of Nanobubble Technology in Wastewater Treatment”, highlighted advancements in the field.
During the presentation he introduced the concept of nanobubbles—these are the microscopic gas-filled bubbles we are studying in the project—and their innovative application in improving wastewater treatment processes. He shared insights from practical testing conducted at a pilot site in Jurkalne, Latvia, as part of the NURSECOAST-II project.
The presentation focused on the solutions that the project is testing and demonstrating, and how nanobubbles can enhance wastewater treatment efficiency, reduce environmental impact, and offer scalable improvements.
This event was a valuable platform for exchanging knowledge, networking, and showcasing project outcomes to stakeholders.
