Description

CEforestry team participated in the European Researchers Night 2024, where the project was presented to wider society (. European Researchers Night is the largest science outreach event in Europe. During the 4 hour event project team engaged in discussions about the current use of forestry residues and the potential use as a source of valuable phytochemicals. The biorefinery aspect of forestry-side stream utilisation was highlighted to obtain compounds with added value. In total the event held at the University of Latvia gathered around 4000 participants from across the country.
