Project Partners promotion - GUT

This event was organized in Bydgoszcz on 27-29.05.2024. For years it was recognized by the water supply and sewage industry as a place to get to know new technologies and share experiences. Participants had a chance to see new ways of recovering water from sewage, a drone with a 5K camera controlling the sewage network and cloud communication.

Climate change has a significant impact on water resources in Poland. Competition for water is not an abstract slogan, but a fact. Situations where there is a lack of water for industry, agriculture or waterworks are becoming more and more common. It is therefore necessary to look for new, non-standard, but safe solutions that will be consistent with the principle of the circular economy.
So can sewage treatment plants be a stable source of water for industry, urban uses or agriculture? We try to find good solutions by participating in Interreg projects for the Baltic Sea Region.
During the conference, the issue of water recovery from various sources, not only municipal sewage, was presented. We will share the experience gained during the implementation of two projects.
