Description

Baltic Environmental Forum Germany (BEF) and Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (HAW) set sails towards Stockholm to meet Keep Sweden Tidy - Håll Sverige Rent for a joint Clean-Up-Action!

The citizens-science initiative from Hamburg @sailingforseas with the skipper @rolfmenzinger invited our colleague from BEF Germany to join them on their sustainable sailing trip to Stockholm. Sailing on board of the “ZERO” sailing boat means using less engine - more sails, avoiding plastic and chemicals, eating vegan meal, using solar batteries and taking water samples for the marine science researches.

What a great chance to join our forces against plastic pollution in the Baltic Sea!

Keep Sweden Tidy with their long-term experience in protecting the coasts against marine littering has set up the clean-up action for the July, 13th!

This international event aims to raise awareness for the plastic pollution problem among the citizens, tourists as well as within the international sailing community.

Join us on July, 13th at 11:00 AM for the clean-up!

Meeting point: Djurgårdsbron by Strandvägen
