New versions of the core documents approved

The Monitoring Committee of Interreg Baltic Sea Region has approved a selection of updates to the Programme’s working documents, namely the Programme Manual as well as the Manual for coordination for macro regional cooperation.

The changes include, among other smaller changes, a revised version of the calculation methods for part time staff as well as an increase of the bid at three threshold from EUR 5,000 to EUR 10,000.

Here you can read the Programme Manual with updated sections marked in yellow and without track changes. Similarly, you can read the Manual for coordination for macro regional cooperation with updated sections marked in yellow and without track changes.

As not all changes enter into force at the same time, the following specification should be kept in mind by all users:

  1. Changes on the staff costs calculation according to the monthly hourly rate become valid retrospectively, from the beginning of the Programme, as set in Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/693 (“This clarification should apply to the entire programming period in order to ensure a coherent set of rules, i.e. as of the date of entry into force of Delegated Regulation (EU) No 481/2014.”)
  2. Changes on the staff costs calculation according to the annual hourly rate become valid as of 1 September 2019, the date of publishing of the updated Staff cost guidance on our Programme website. (these are based on REGULATION   (EU,  Euratom)   2018/1046)
  3. All other changes  enter into force as of the approval date by the MC of the amended Programme Mannal (12 December 2019).”
