Europe Day 2021 marks the anniversary of the Schuman Declaration and it is traditionally about celebrating peace and unity in Europe. On this occasion, five Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) shared their thoughts with us: Delara Burkhardt from Germany, Nils Torvalds and Ville Niinistö from Finland, Emma Wiesner from Sweden and Dace Melbārde Latvia.

The Members of Parliament talked about their connection to the Baltic Sea, the future of Interreg Baltic Sea Region and the importance of cooperation initiatives to advance the sustainable development of the region.

On 20 September, the Interreg Baltic Sea Region team organised a workshop at the conference.​
