VERIFIN on Helsingin yliopiston Matemaattis-luonnontieteelliseen tiedekuntaan kuuluvan Kemian osaston yksikkö, joka perustettiin vuonna 1994 jatkamaan vuonna 1973 aloitettua Kemiallisen Aseen tutkimusprojektia (CW-projekti). VERIFIN tukee kemiallisen aseen kieltosopimuksen valvontaa kehittämällä tutkimusmenetelmiä kemiallisille taisteluaineille ja antamalla alaan liittyvää koulutusta. VERIFINin toiminnan pääasiallinen rahoittaja on Suomen ulkoasiainministeriö.
