Lahti Southern Ring Road
The aim of the project is to ensure smoother and safer transport along the busy main road No 12 and to improve conditions for land use development and business throughout the Lahti region.

Luumäki-Imatra railway project
A double-track railway is being built on the line Joutseno–Imatra, replacing the current single-track railway. The current track on the line Luumäki–Joutseno is also being improved. The project also comprises renovations to reduce the maintenance backlog on the Saimaa Canal Railway Bridge, the Mansikkakoski Railway Bridge and the underpass on the old Main Road 6.

Kokkola channel and port deepening
The project will have a great impact on the accessibility of the Kokkola channel and on the transport economy of the goods transported through the port. The deepening of the channel will improve the competitiveness of the Port of Kokkola and enable the largest vessels to load to their full capacity.
